A lyrical thunderstorm!
Lorde was incredible! Her stage presence could be felt rows up. The renditions of her songs sounded spot on like the album and it was an absolute delight learning the background of some of the roots of her writing process. She was charming and not at all afraid to show her vulnerable and flawed side. She constantly engaged with the audience and expressed her gratitude on numerous occasions, which is always so wonderful to see from an artist of her magnitude. I enjoyed this concert tremendously. As the new album is fairly new, I would recommend diving into it in its entirety before attending (I was so glad I did!), although she also blended old songs in with the new ones, which was an absolute treat.
